I actually had recorded this once and had it ready to edit and post up but after going back, it was not my best performance. This was a hard one to pull off (hopefully I did!) The original is a pretty heavy song with distorted guitars and full band. So translating it to a single acoustic guitar was interesting.
We used this song for a recent sermon series at church. The theme of the series was “outreach” so this went well at the beginning and end of the series. Of course, being a Casting Crowns song, it has good lyrics.
